About Me

Interestingly enough, I never intended to become an electrician! I left a degree related career in advertising in my late twenties to embark on a 4 1/2-year apprenticeship and I've never once looked back. I've always been curious about how things work by taking them apart and putting them back together again. I think a childhood spent with Hornby, Scalextric, and Meccano is largely to blame! My background in design still benefits me as I can visualise what I'm doing and everything I do is justified, considered, and as neat as can be.

When I'm not working on electrics or catching up on business admin, I'm busy being a dad, renovating our house or tinkering with and riding my old British motorbikes.
